CmapTools and PowerPoint tip:

The Presentations made with the Presentation module in CmapTools cannot be embedded into PowerPoint or any other presentation software.

What I do is I link the .pps files from Powerpoint to the Cmaps as links to concepts so that when they are opened from the Cmap in full-screen presentation mode, the powerpoint is opened also full screen. Once you hit ESC on the powerpoint, you go back to your Cmap presentation in full-screen and can open other PP links, or other Cmaps in presentation mode. You get more flexibility from driving the presentation from a Cmap and linking to PP than the other way around.

The following link shows an example of links from the Cmap to .pps files. Of course, since this is the html version of the Cmaps you don't get the feeling for the map in presentation mode.

(In CmapTools, you'll have to go to the IHMC Internal Server and then go down the path) can give you an idea of how make a presentation using CmapTools. Follow the main box in the Cmap to get into presentation mode.

If you have downloaded v5 beta you can also open this Cmap directly by clicking on the following URL in your Web browser -- it should launch CmapTools an open the Cmap, but only if you have one of the latest v5 beta versions (available for download at http://cmap.ihmc.us)

Of course, you can export the Cmap as an image and add it to a PPT slide, but then you loose all the links, etc.
